Your role @CHANEL:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the Travel Retail Department acting as a key support to the Fragrance & Beauty Director for Travel Retail UK, Ireland & South Africa.
- You are the go-to person for data and insights across the department, the key liaison between office and field teams, and own the end-to-end creation of highly detailed retailer documentation to ensure the successful launch of the marketing calendar.
- The role also provides proactive commercial and operational support to National Accounts, Head of Sales, Retail Development Managers and field teams - translating priorities into clear actions, deadlines, communications, and ensuring office and field teams remain aligned.
- A confident communicator and analyst, you work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and external retail partners, with a genuine passion for Fragrance & Beauty industry.
What impact you can create at Chanel:
- General Duties (90%)
- Ownership of Product Catalogue, Campaign Launches & Discontinuations
- Own the retailer catalogue and product line documentation: new line forms, campaign pricing, stock sheets, training materials, travel retail catalogue updates and discontinuations, supporting the National Account Manager
- Maintain retailer-specific product assortments, including D365 inclusions and exclusions, supporting range reviews, distribution, and vendor-level assortment management
- Manage end-to-end cycle launches across multiple retailers through cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Local Market, Finance, distribution centres and E-Retail
- Ensure launch readiness and correct in-store and online execution across all retailers
- Sales & Data Analysis
- Track and produce weekly performance reports by synthesising multiple data sources including retail sales, passenger data, industry trends and campaign results
- Deliver retailer-, store- and SKU-level analysis to identify performance trends, opportunities and risks, store grading reviews and premium range evaluations
- Support Midterm Plans, quarterly Budget Presentations and conference decks with clear, impactful data visualisation
- Confidential Commercial Administration
- Generate and distribute highly confidential price increase documentation across UK, Ireland and South Africa
- Produce monthly target templates & sales reports for field teams in partnership with Finance
- Manage and refine Support Order Forms and Tester Order Forms
- Manage invoice processing and raise POs, liaising with Finance and vendors to ensure accurate coding and timely payment
- Systems & Process
- Lead data stewardship for Travel Retail distribution doors (e.g. Reltio & Compass code set-up), supporting departmental system rollouts and cross-functional data alignment
- Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate day-to-day requests, store-level information, field updates and operational follow-through to ensure office and field teams remain aligned
- Lead bi-weekly meetings with the Marketing team to ensure tight collaboration and communication between departments
- Lead end-to-end planning of major retailer events to strengthen retailer relationships, including bi-annual strategy meetings and retailer conferences
- Plan and coordinate quarterly Cycle meetings and team offsites/events
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Personal Assistant Duties (10%)
- Manage Director's travel, both domestic and international, and assisting with travel agendas via Concur
- Organise team events, lunches and meetings
What you will bring to the role:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar or comparable role
- Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills (including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables and data manipulation), with the ability to produce accurate analysis, clear reports and impactful presentations
- Strong, proven ability to build relationships and an excellent communicator
- Highly organised with ability to plan, prioritise and deliver multiple deadlines under pressure
- Experience managing confidential commercial information (e.g. pricing)
- Passion for the Fragrance & Beauty industry
- Willingness to learn, take ownership and develop commercial knowledge across the Travel Retail business
