Overview
In this role you will drive global client data initiatives within Chanel’s Pioneer PMO. You will partner with the Global Client Data Manager to coordinate data management, privacy, analytics and stewardship across Regions and Divisions. You’ll formalize business requirements, shape the global client data model, and ensure governance and cross-domain alignment. You will lead stakeholder collaboration, enable timely delivery, and support data-driven decision making at scale. This is a unique chance to influence client data strategy in a luxury retail context.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate data management and governance initiatives across Regions and Divisions
- Support execution of data management priorities and track risks/dependencies
- Formalise business requirements and data rules across Client Data Domain streams
- Evolve global client data model and PGCFs, enabling global segmentation and status
- Drive cross-domain initiatives with Location, Product and other data domains
- Partner with Global Data Governance to ensure compliance with business data principles
- Act as Global Data Steward deputy, promoting data stewardship practices
- Animate Data Stewardship Community with training materials and best-practice guidelines
- Facilitate data privacy processes (e.g., Data Subject Requests, Data Retention) and communicate changes
- Lead analytics support for Regions/Divisions, monitor data quality and propose remediation
- Translate priorities into project plans, roadmaps and delivery actions
- Coordinate the monthly Client Data Forum and prepare executive materials for steering committees
- Use Jira and Confluence to manage requirements, risks and dependencies
- Maintain governance documents and knowledge repositories
Key requirements
- Experience supporting client data management, governance, quality or MDM projects
- Experience coordinating cross-functional, international projects
- Experience with client data analytics, KPI development, reporting and data quality monitoring
- Ability to gather and document business requirements and processes
- Knowledge in Digital and CRM is advantageous
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word; Jira and Confluence desirable
