Central to this ecosystem is Workday, which serves as an indispensable repository for core people data.

At CHANEL, we are committed to managing the Workday experience in-house with the support of a dedicated global team of senior functional analysts. These analysts collaborate closely with the broader Organization & People community and IT partners to enhance our internal utilization of Workday while preserving the integrity of this critical system.

We are seeking a highly experienced HRIS professional with exceptional Workday proficiency to play a crucial dual role. This senior individual will not only be tasked with executing complex technical configurations, proactively troubleshooting issues, driving innovative solutions, and leading key projects within the Workday ecosystem, but will also serve as a guiding force, mentoring and nurturing the development of junior team members.

Your Role: As the Senior HRIS professional at the helm of our Workday platform, you will be entrusted with the complete ownership of the full HCM suite, deftly orchestrating all aspects of its configuration and functionality to meet our ambitious business objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in steering complex Workday projects, meticulously crafting and implementing solutions that encapsulate the full spectrum of HR processes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities are crucial in leading our organization through transformative initiatives, ensuring the flawless execution of HR solution testing, and continually enhancing our controls, data integrity, and system efficiencies. With your superior communication abilities, you will adeptly manage priorities, facilitate critical discussions, challenge conventional thinking, and cultivate meaningful stakeholder relations, all while ensuring that our Workday HCM suite operates at the pinnacle of its potential.

Combining the mastery of Core HR module configurations, the presentation of new Workday features to leadership, and the drive for continuous enhancements, this role requires an individual who can act as a strategic advisor and the primary point of contact for the People Solutions team. The Senior HRIS professional will navigate the evolving landscape of Workday, leveraging tools like Workday Extend, BOTs, and RPAs to deliver value-added services.

They will manage the configuration, maintenance, and progression of tenant setups, business processes, and bi-annual releases, ensuring seamless operation and advancement. By delivering exceptional customer service and resolving complex issues promptly and effectively, they will uphold our commitment to excellence.

As a mentor and coach, they will guide users through configuration tasks, providing expert advice on system and process implications. Collaborating with the People Analytics team, they will ensure functional data mapping, data catalog, and core referential integrity. The role continuously seeks feedback to refine configurations and leads Workday data stewardship.

Evaluating existing configurations and incorporating end-user feedback, they will suggest and implement enhancements. Leading data purging activities, they will maintain consistency across applications, all while serving as a strategic advisor and key contact point, ensuring that the People Solutions team's strategic vision is flawlessly executed and continuously improved.

You are adept at technical configurations, excel in spreadsheet formulas, and thrive on the challenge of coding within systems—skills that are vital for the efficiency and success of our digital solutions. Your commitment to exceptional service and client satisfaction is at the heart of your professional ethos, setting the standard for service excellence.

With a natural talent for detailed analysis and critical thinking, you consistently deliver high-quality work, even under tight deadlines. You take the initiative, seamlessly managing multiple projects while ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in your approach. Your ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and thrive in international settings equips you to mentor and drive forward the strategic ambitions of the team.

You are meticulous in documentation, which supports your passion for mentoring, and ensures that our practices are transparent and replicable.
