About the role:
The Account Executive will support and develop Multi Brand Retail sales through education and motivation of store sales staff. The Account Executive is responsible for executing CHANEL business objectives, promotional programming, upholding brand image, and talent development at the store level. The ideal candidate has a passion for Fragrance and Beauty, has worked within a Multi Brand Retail and/or Retail environment, and has experience managing a significant sales volume. Must have strong communication, coaching, and execution skills.

- Business Execution
- Responsible for executing the business strategies to achieve the Companies business objectives.
- Regularly monitor retail sales and hold Counter team accountable to meeting established retail sales objectives.
- Establish a cadence of in-store time with both Counter teams and Store leadership to ensure alignment to CHANEL business objectives, sales plans, product launches, and special events.
- Partner closely with Counter Manager to develop a client strategy, focusing on attaining new clients and developing a loyal client base.
- Foster strong relationships with Retail leadership to ensure CHANEL is positioned well within each respective beauty department from a space and location and talent perspective.
- Maintain a pulse on market dynamics and trends to capitalise on opportunities and ensure achievement of Company objectives.
- Plan, communicate, and execute all in-store events in partnership with Regional Director, Education, and other relevant corporate partners.
- Responsible for managing a budget and adhering to respective Company policies and procedures.
- Talent Development
- Recruit and develop Counter teams, with a strong focus on succession planning.
- In partnership with the Education Executive, provide orientation training/onboarding for all new hires using company approved platforms and materials.
- Leverage fluency in product, service and artistry skills to coach and support Counter Managers and BAs.
- Model behaviour with side-by-side coaching on service ritual, application techniques and all facets of the clientele system, specific to each retailer.
- Partner with Education Executive to identify learning opportunities and execute focused development plans.
- Brand Image & Experience
- Ensure that Brand Image is being upheld within respective territory by leveraging any and all available tools and proactively providing feedback/training to your Counter teams.
- Responsible for ensuring all merchandising guidelines and visual merchandising elements are properly executed at all stores.
- Communicate timely and effectively any counter issues or concerns to Corporate to address any deficiencies.
- Keep image as top priority and adhere to all visual standards.

Position Logistics:
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Suite.
- Travel requirement of approx. 50% - 75%.
- Ability to lift at minimum 40 pounds.
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,500 through $117,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay will be offered for this position. Other components will include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
