This rollout has optimized booking and expense claim processes within Finance and supports our future T&E needs.
About The Role
Chanel seeks a Business Process Lead for Global Travel & Expense (T&E). This pivotal role involves driving process improvements and strategy for global T&E, enhancing user experience, and streamlining operations. You will collaborate across teams to design and implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency and stakeholder experience. As part of the RUN team, responsible for maintaining and improving S2P and T&E processes, you will help achieve our digitalization goals. This role is based in London, with travel as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning, governance, and stakeholder management
- Ensure the completeness and validity of the global core model for T&E and assist markets with governance requirements.
- Support rollout of new processes or technologies using project management methodologies (e.g., Agile).
- Proactively seek feedback and strive to exceed expectations.
- Provide timely, accurate information to stakeholders.
- Demonstrate integrity, credibility, respect, and trustworthiness.
- Dependably meet commitments to senior stakeholders.
- Inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
Knowledge and expertise
- Deep understanding of expense ledger entries and related processes.
- Technical accounting skills; ACCA or CIMA qualification preferred.
- Expertise in Concur Expense and Travel.
- Understanding of business travel and the travel industry.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Excel, Power BI).
Process, Risk, and Controls mapping
- Anticipate evolving stakeholder requirements in expense processes.
- Oversee global expense control, reporting, and analytics.
- Ensure appropriate control frameworks across markets.
- Review and improve T&E processes for efficiency.
- Identify key drivers of expense requests and provide timely resolutions.
- Gather requirements for Concur Travel Module features and policy changes.
- Report on travel management compliance and spend to identify improvement opportunities.
