The Sustainability Performance and Insights Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering an innovative and robust performance framework: capturing sustainability data into KPI regularly, aggregating net-zero trajectories, supporting the global data and IT standard. Positioned at the intersection of Sustainability, FP&A, Finance Data office, this role ensures that our ESG performance is not only measured with rigour but actively supports decision integration.

IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

  • Strengthen our rhythm of ESG performance reporting and insight generation
You will enable the House to access regular, consistent and actionable performance insights, aligned with CHANEL’s financial and operational cycles. You will structure refresh frequencies, ensure timely availability of data, and translate evolving signals into clear, elegant and meaningful narratives. You will contribute to the evolution of the ESG Performance Dashboard, ensuring the right indicators, trends and analyses are visible for business leaders to act upon.
  • Shape Net Zero trajectories and modelling frameworks for the House
You will co‐define, with Corporate, Regions and Divisions, a shared way of working on trajectories: harmonised methodologies, common tools, modelling rules and aligned assumptions. You will maintain and enhance forward‐looking Net Zero models — integrating bottom‐up actions, top‐down expectations, sensitivities and abatement curves — and support entities in identifying their highest‐value levers for transformation.
  • Embed continuous improvement through controls, enhanced analytics and new capabilities
You will reinforce the discipline around ESG performance through structured internal control, transparent documentation and consistent application of methodologies. In collaboration with the Tool Owner, you will help integrate AI‐enabled analytics, anomaly detection and advanced insight capabilities. You will gather business requirements across Finance, Operations, Divisions and Regions, and help translate them into improved processes, tools and decision-support frameworks. You will work closely with Finance as new Sustainable Finance requirements emerge, ensuring they are supported by robust data, coherent trajectories and relevant analytical frameworks. You will help bring together performance (ESG), impact (risk and opportunity) and finance (valuation and steering) into a coherent and actionable view for the House.
