The role has Key Responsibilities:
- Take a leading role in the preparation process of the Annual Financial Statements of the Chanel Limited Group, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”), within our financial statement reporting tool.
- Maintain accounting policies and procedures in conformity with IFRS, Chanel reporting requirements, and best practices.
- Support the adherence to these policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified (ACA or equivalent) accountant with minimum 2 years of PQE in a similar Group accounting role. Big 4 background preferred.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) to summarise and explain complex technical accounting issues succinctly.
- Team player with experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, resilient and able to respond constructively to challenge and change.
- Ability to work independently within a team in a multi-task environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Experience with FCCS, TM1 and Essbase would be advantageous.
- Working on complex and large transactions that require research and application of IFRS standards.
- Take pride in ensuring information is accurate. You find satisfaction in precision and can work across different tasks and priorities.
