Chanel is a federated organization with divisions and regions all over the globe. Within Chanel’s Global Corporate IT team (CorpFIT), the People & Organisation and Legal Solutions domain delivers all common technologies relating to the development and management of our People (Core HR, Organization, HR Services, Talent, Learning, etc) and our Legal activities (Legal Operations, Compliance Intellectual Property, Public Affairs etc).

As Chanel continues the development and implementation of our People & Organisation and Legal technology roadmap, we have an opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Intern to join our CorpFIT People and Organisation IT team. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of our IT domain, assist in project management and governance of transversal initiatives, support the implementation of IT projects, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our technology operations.

The impact you can create at Chanel:
  • Interact with IT Technology Leads to maintain a summary programme plan and project status report, enabling major milestones, achievements, risks and issues to be highlighted and communicated.
  • Actively participate in arranging and facilitating portfolio management, governance forums and planning events, including establishing and managing work request intake and review process (leveraging JIRA tooling).
  • Maintain the People & Organisation and Legal IT online service catalogue (SharePoint) to provide a central repository of up-to-date information for our stakeholders and internal customers.
  • Engage in a variety of technology project delivery related activity across the People & Organisation and Legal technology domain, including testing, configuration, reporting.
  • Support IT Application Managers and Enterprise Architecture with data gathering and documentation, contributing to the creation of our medium and long-term roadmap.
  • Support the team in researching and evaluating new technologies and tools that could enhance the IT capabilities of the House.
  • Collaborate with the wider CorpFIT CIO office, People & Organisation and Legal Teams to support communication, reporting and process improvement/change management activity.

What you will bring:
  • Currently enrolled, or completed as recent graduates in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work autonomously when required.
  • Organisation skills, with an ability to prioritise workloads, multitask and willing to handle complex issues.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office tooling (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint). Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence would be a plus.
  • English communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience in managing projects and coordinating across groups of people will be appreciated.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanour with enthusiasm and energy to apply technology to solve business challenges.
