Your role:
You will be part of a dynamic and innovative Legal Operations team in the Global Legal department. The role will work closely with the worldwide Chanel Legal team, the Chanel Tech team, as well as our business partners in other functions and divisions. You will be leading various projects and initiatives, bringing impactful project deliverables and outcomes to support the ambitions as well as the Legal Operations roadmap.
What impact and key drivers you can create at Chanel:
- Working closely with other members of the Legal Operations team and the wider Legal team, you will be leading multiple Projects or Workstreams achieving objectives aligned to support the Legal Transformation Roadmap for the Legal Department, including:
- Create/Refine project plans in different project stages, including required resources, timelines and anticipate efforts involved to implement the proposed desired process/tool, define scope and project success KPIs.
- In collaboration with internal teams, design use cases and roll out sample user testing (UAT) to check viability of tools and/or software and track and manage internal feedback.
- Collaborate with external tool/software vendors and internal IT teams on the global implementation of tools and software.
- Manage vendors.
- Design the tracking mechanisms and reporting on the roll-out of the selected approach, both from a Global level perspective, and regionally in collaboration with key contacts, and update stakeholder groups regularly against KPIs.
- Measure outcome by working closely with the Steering Committees and/or Project teams, including IT, Indirect Procurement and other colleagues to ensure that the tool is operational in all jurisdictions and meeting the needs of local practices.
Lead change management in launching campaigns in a matrix organisation including divisions, regions and markets, including but not limited to creating launch materials, communication decks, design and lead education and training sessions for implementation.
Provide expert guidance to the Legal function community on optimising legal service delivery, operating models, and ways of working.
Influence different legal leaders and cross-functional teams to align on priorities, adopt change, and embed best-in-class legal operations practices.
Contribute to the shaping of the legal technology roadmap.
Proactively identify, lead and support process improvements and technology adoption across the Global Legal Department.
Participate in data governance and analytics for Legal, including data quality, standards, reporting and dashboards, insights generation, and responsible AI-enabled use of legal data.
Collaborate on team-wide projects or events, such as the annual Legal Innovation Day, or to write/edit the Legal Annual Report.
Help build and share Legal Project Management know-how and best practices to the wider legal community.

What you will bring/have:
- Deep expertise (8+ years) of project Management and change management experience; experience in legal work processes or environments a definite plus.
- Understanding of tech eco-systems, data governance and integration of tools.
- An industry recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. APMP, Prince 2).
- Experience working with data analysis and willingness to learn more.
- Strong communication skills, especially excellent writing skills.
- Legal background preferred (not required).
