Within Chanel’s Global Corporate IT team (CorpFIT), the People & Organisation and Legal Solutions domain delivers common technologies for People (Core HR, Organisation, HR Services, Talent, Learning, etc.) and Legal activities (Legal Operations, Compliance Intellectual Property, Public Affairs, etc.). This internship offers hands‑on experience in project management, governance of transversal initiatives, and support of IT project implementation.
Responsibilities
- Interact with IT Technology Leads to maintain a summary programme plan and project status report, highlighting major milestones, achievements, risks and issues.
- Actively participate in arranging and facilitating portfolio management, governance forums and planning events, including establishing and managing work request intake and review process (leveraging JIRA tooling).
- Maintain the People & Organisation and Legal IT online service catalogue (SharePoint) as a central repository of up‑to‑date information for stakeholders and internal customers.
- Engage in technology project delivery activities across the People & Organisation and Legal technology domain, including testing, configuration and reporting.
- Support IT Application Managers and Enterprise Architecture with data gathering and documentation, contributing to the creation of our medium and long‑term roadmap.
- Support the team in researching and evaluating new technologies and tools that could enhance the IT capabilities of the House.
- Collaborate with the wider CorpFIT CIO office, People & Organisation and Legal teams to support communication, reporting and process improvement/change‑management activity.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work autonomously when required and manage priorities, multitask and handle complex issues.
- Analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office tooling (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
- English communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
- Experience managing projects and coordinating across groups of people is appreciated.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanour and enthusiasm to apply technology to solve business challenges.
