We're now looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our team at our Chandlers Roofing Scrubs Lane.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Loading and unloading customer and supplier vehicles
- Organising and maintaining yard stock
- Assisting customers with stock availability and basic product enquiries
- Keeping the yard clean, safe, and well organised
- Working as part of a friendly, hardworking team
- Supporting the branch with day‑to‑day operations
Requirements:
- Positive, can‑do attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Yard or builders' merchant experience (desirable)
- Sales or product knowledge is a bonus
