Our client, who is a leading manufacturer of cold water booster sets, integrated pumps and tank systems, flow meter chambers, pressurisation sets, Cat 5 booster sets, plant rooms and wastewater pumping products, is looking for a successful Technical Sales Engineer, ideally from the water/pumps or HVAC sector with good M&E consultant and Public Health engineer experience. Covering London inside the M25, you'll be gaining the specification on all types of commercial, industrial and residential projects and then passing it on to your contractor led colleague. Offering up to £60k basis, plus company bonus, company car, 4.5% pension, health-cover and other attractive benefits.
- THE ROLE: Your role as Technical Sales Engineer is to sell the company's manufactured range of commercial wastewater and stormwater related products, cold water booster sets, integrated pumps and tank systems, Cat 5 booster sets, plant rooms, flow meter chambers, pressurisation sets and wastewater pumping products. Projects would be a mix of new build and refurbishment on commercial buildings, such as schools, prisons, hospitals, big office blocks, high-rise buildings, leisure centres etc. As Technical Sales Engineer, you'll be developing a portfolio of established specification led clients, being M&E consultants, Public Health engineers and consultants across London and the M25, offering your full product portfolio and getting specified. You'll then pass it onto the M&E contractor led colleague at tender stage. You'll also be responsible for delivering CPD seminars. You'll visit these companies face to face, building relationships at all levels with key stakeholders within the building services sector and its key consultants, leveraging existing relationships and agreements. The aim is to become the go to contact for pumping systems, ensuring that consultants are aware of all of the range of products.

- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will be project led, technically strong, able to gain specifications with M&E consultants, Public Health engineers and other specifiers across the Building services sector. Our client is also keen to meet candidates that are used to gaining specifications with consultants, perhaps in an internal role, with a passion to move into field sales as they offer excellent training. Ideally the Technical Sales Engineer will have experience in the plumbing sector/water industry, or HVAC but would also look at anyone selling a product into M&E consultants or Public Health engineers or the Building Services arena. You will be a strong relationship builder, with a demonstrable track record of sales success and networking with businesses and understanding their commercial aims. You will have good attention to detail, be a good networker, enthusiastic, ambitious, with a positive outlook.
