Do you have a proven track record in field sales within the construction industry? Are you a solid relationship builder and account manager with the ability to make new business calls? Our client is a global market leader within the non-mechanical access equipment industry looking to hire an Area Sales Manager to be home/field based covering South Wales and the South West working on their specialist Edge Protection safety products team.
The Role:
- Your role is to hire and sell the company's range of specialist Edge Protection products, which include specialist panels and posts for people working at height.
- Field/Home based covering Cardiff and all of South Wales going down to the South West.
- Selling to Main and Sub Contractors, Ground Workers, Civil Engineers and the Construction industry in general.
- Managing accounts, developing these relationships and ensuring they are getting the best service possible and are aware of the full product range available.
- Your role is 50% Account Management and 50% New Business.
- 1 day a week based in the branch in South Wales and 4 days based in the field in front of customers.
- Leads provided and an excellent database. Great training, support and back up.
The Candidate:
- Ideally from non-mechanical access or construction safety products.
- Must have a proven track record within construction field sales.
- Our client is looking to hire a professional field sales person.
- Someone looking for a long-term career.
- Great experience with Account Management and New Business.
- MUST have sold to Main and Sub Contractors and the Construction industry in general.
