The completion of the deal saw Company of Cooks become the group’s go-to operators in heritage and performance venues, art galleries and destinations. We are excited to be recruiting for a General Manager based at Chelsea Physic Garden.
Location: SW3 4HS
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Shift pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 over 6 days (Sunday-Friday) predominantly 9:00-17:00
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure daily operations run smoothly for both the coffee shop and the summer terrace restaurant. Coordinate staff schedules, monitor stock levels, and oversee supply chain logistics.
- Provide an excellent customer-focused environment, ensuring high service quality and prompt issue resolution.
- Hire, train, and manage employees, including baristas, kitchen staff, and servers.
- Motivate and lead the team to meet performance and service standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings to align staff with operational goals and address concerns.
- Monitor revenue, control expenses, and achieve financial targets.
- Manage 2 Chefs, assistant manager, and any additional casual staff.
