Pay Level: £33,000.00 – £42,000.00 plus bonus
Chancery Court Tax Chambers is seeking to appoint a "Paralegal Level Legal Assistant" to join the expanding team in our leading boutique tax and wealth structuring chambers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding candidate to join one of the UK's most specialist and cutting-edge international tax and wealth structuring legal chambers. Our clients include high and ultra-high net worth individuals and business owners, banks, trustees and trust companies, funds and entrepreneurs of all kind.
You will be highly-intelligent with excellent people skills and highly-motivated, capable of working on your own initiative and have excellent analytical skills and problem solving abilities. You will have an excellent memory and be able to speak and write to a highly articulate standard. You will not be expected to have any tax law knowledge to start.
You will have a very good knowledge of key legal concepts such as trust and contract law to a very high undergraduate standard, and will be a fast learner, able to pick up and retain information and knowledge.
In the role you will work as part of an elite team in all areas of Chambers work, including corporate and wealth structuring, tax, trust, partnerships, employment and contract law. You will gain exposure to complex high value frauds, commercial and tax disputes.
You will experience complex high value work and will learn highly valuable transferable skills and knowledge.
Pay, after completion of probation, is between £33,000 – £42,000 (depending on performance). We also operate a bonus system.
