The WTG Representative is responsible for overseeing the work carried out by the WTG Subcontractor, ensuring that all engineering and maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the contractual obligations of the WTG Subcontractor. The role involves working primarily offshore but when weather or operations dictate no offshore works the role will involve document review, planning and other activities required to better oversee the subcontractor. The role requires a strong understanding of the WTG systems and associated maintenance and reporting, and managing the interfaces between Company and WTG Subcontractor in the best interests of the Windfarm Owner. As part of a small core technical team, some flexibility is required and additional duties within the capacity of a WTG Representative will be required. Position within the Organisation Reports to: Wind Farm Operations and Maintenance Manager Key Deliverables and Responsibilities -Review and approve the WTG Subcontractor AWPs and other documents used for offshore maintenance activities. -Collaborate with managers and technical teams to identify where and when Offshore Representation/oversight is required. -Monitor progress of WTG Subcontractor work against procedure and schedule, ensuring adherence to AWPs, timelines, and budgets. -Provide technical expertise and ensure that all proposed WTG work complies with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. -Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): -Ensure all offshore activities comply with health, safety and environmental standards, promoting a safety-first culture. -Review risk assessments and ensure that necessary safety control measures are in place during project execution. Stakeholder Communication: -Liaise with offshore teams, onshore support personnel, contractors, and clients in relation to WTG maintenance activities and other scopes of work. Job Description -Ensure clear and effective communication between all stakeholders, both offshore and onshore. Quality Control: -Ensure all plans, schedules and work carried out meets the required quality standards and specifications. -Conduct inspections and oversee the maintenance, testing and commissioning of WTG equipment and systems. Documentation and Reporting: -Prepare and submit reports to senior management and clients in relation to the WTG Subcontractor. Qualifications / Experience / Skills -Preferred Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline. -Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a similar or relevant role. -Experience working in a dynamic, operational environment is highly desirable.
