As a Kitchen Porter, you play a vital role in supporting both the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams. Your work ensures the kitchen runs smoothly, safely and efficiently, enabling chefs and service teams to focus on delivering outstanding dining experiences within a luxury, wellbeing focused environment.

Role Overview

  • You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen areas, ensuring equipment, crockery and cutlery are ready for service, and supporting deliveries and stock processes. Consistency, reliability and attention to detail are key to success in this role.
  • Your role will include:
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas, staff canteens and kitchen corridors
  • Washing kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery to support smooth restaurant service
  • Ensuring kitchen areas remain clean and safe during service, with walkways clear and floors dry
  • Following and signing off cleaning schedules to demonstrate due diligence and compliance
  • Carrying out deep cleaning of kitchen equipment as required
  • Keeping storerooms clean and well organised, with floors swept and mopped
  • Storing food deliveries correctly, ensuring proper stock rotation at all times
  • Supporting non food deliveries and distributing goods to relevant departments
  • Managing waste correctly, including food, general and recycling waste, in line with procedures
  • Keeping delivery yard areas clean and tidy
  • Assisting with stocktakes where required
  • Communicating effectively with chefs and wider teams
  • Reporting any equipment faults or issues promptly to senior kitchen team members
  • Health, safety and professionalism:
  • Maintaining excellent personal hygiene and presentation in line with company standards
  • Following all health, safety and food hygiene procedures at all times
  • Attending all required training and completing safety modules
  • Being familiar with resort emergency procedures and reporting hazards immediately
