The Revenue Manager is responsible for compiling and analysing data to make informed decisions regarding room and package pricing, and executing these strategies. The role includes gathering comprehensive business data, monitoring competitors, and providing the wider business and Hotel GMs with essential information for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
A key element of this role is communication; all areas of the business need to be fully aware of available data and strategic directions.
This position typically covers two hotels β Eastwell Manor and Mottram Hall, with the base location at Eastwell Manor.
Responsibilities Include
- Develop and implement revenue-generating group projects in collaboration with other Champneys teams.
- Create reports to demonstrate revenue maximisation.
- Regularly review internal system data.
- Analyze booking patterns and market trends consistently and promptly.
- Monitor competitor performance continuously.
- Update package and room rates across all systems.
- Manage yield effectively.
- Initiate promotions and build packages to attract business during key periods.
- Forecast revenue performance accurately.
- Coordinate with Reservations, Reception, and General Management on revenue matters.
- Complete and negotiate LNR and RFP processes.
