As Night Manager, you’ll take ownership of the overnight operation, leading the Front of House team and ensuring our guests experience the same exceptional standards of service, safety and care – even through the night. The Role: Fully accountable for the smooth, safe and efficient running of the resort during nighttime hours. Lead and motivate the overnight Front of House team, manage night audits and security checks, control costs, and act as the senior point of contact on site. Balance operational excellence with genuine hospitality, ensuring guests feel safe, supported and well cared for at all times.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and managing the overnight Front of House operation
- Ensuring the safety and security of all guests, colleagues and the property
- Managing and developing your team through training, feedback, appraisals and performance plans
- Conducting night audits, security checks and floor walks
- Overseeing arrivals, departures and guest accounts during the night
- Acting as Duty Manager on a rota basis
- Managing rotas, absences and departmental payroll budgets
- Reviewing payroll spend and reporting variances to the General Manager
- Handling guest queries, feedback and conflict resolution with confidence
- Liaising closely with Housekeeping and other departments to maintain seamless service
- Maintaining high presentation standards across all guest‑facing areas
- Ensuring full compliance with company policies, financial controls and health & safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
- Confident leadership skills with a calm, professional presence
- Strong operational knowledge, particularly of Front of House and night procedures
- High attention to detail, especially around safety, security and financial controls
- Excellent communication and guest‑service skills
- Comfortable working night shifts and taking full responsibility for the property
- Knowledge of hotel systems is an advantage (full training provided where required)
