The spa operation is at the core of the Champneys brand, and this role ensures our therapists deliver exceptional experiences in line with our values and standards.</p><p>You will be responsible for delivering training, identifying skill gaps, and fostering continuous improvement across the Northern region. This role requires both a hands-on and strategic approach, with a strong emphasis on maintaining quality, consistency, and innovation within our spa teams.</p><p><br></p><p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li>Deliver high-quality, engaging training to spa therapists across all Champneys spas in the North region.</li><li>Identify training needs and develop tailored learning programs to support individual and team growth.</li><li>Introduce and implement new treatments and protocols, maintaining Champneys’ position as a leader in spa excellence.</li><li>Work closely with the Group Spa Manager and Regional Spa Managers to support operational and commercial objectives.</li><li>Oversee the induction process for new therapists, ensuring it is up to date, comprehensive, and aligned with company standards.</li><li>Travel regularly to Northern spa locations to support on-site training, coaching, and development.</li><li>Maintain accurate training records and provide reports on team progress and development plans.</li><li>Attend and contribute to regular group training meetings and initiatives.</li><li>Share knowledge across the team, promote collaboration, and contribute to a positive and respectful working environment.</li><li>Uphold brand standards and ensure consistent treatment delivery across all Northern spas.</li><li>Mentor and support therapists in developing technical skills and delivering an exceptional guest experience.</li><li>Lead by example in professionalism, standards, and guest care.</li><li>Manage training resources and ensure materials are current and aligned with brand guidelines.</li><li>Support administrative tasks related to training and team development.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li>Ensure all spa team members are aware of and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures.</li><li>Confirm that protective equipment is used where required for specific treatments.</li><li>Guarantee that all staff are properly trained and qualified before delivering treatments or classes.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED</b></p><ul><li>Proven experience in the spa industry, previous field trainer experience essential. Experience delivering training and coaching in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of a wide range of spa treatments and the ability to adapt protocols as needed.</li><li>Experience working with apprenticeships is highly desirable.</li><li>Passionate about learning, development, and the wellbeing industry.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Highly organised with strong attention to detail.</li><li>Willingness and flexibility to travel across the North region and occasionally nationally.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</b></p><p>This is a field-based role working <b>between multiple spa locations</b> within the North Region. <b>Candidates must be based near one of our Northern spas</b> and able to travel regularly between sites as part of their weekly schedule.</p><p></p>
