The Role
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering a memorable guest experience across our restaurants, bars and events spaces.
You’ll be part of a motivated team, providing friendly, professional service while creating a welcoming and relaxed environment for our guests. You will also support the team in maintaining high standards and contributing to a positive, commercially successful department.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing outstanding service across restaurant, bar and room service areas
- Welcoming guests and ensuring a warm, professional experience
- Preparing service stations and assisting with mise-en-place before service
- Taking orders and serving food and drinks efficiently and professionally
- Supporting events including meetings, weddings and afternoon teas
- Maintaining excellent product knowledge, including menus and nutritional information
- Keeping service areas clean, organised and presentable at all times
- Handling guest feedback and escalating when required
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider teams to ensure smooth service
- Supporting upselling opportunities by promoting Champneys experiences and facilities
