Contract: Zero Hour

Salary: up to £12.21 per hour plus service charge

As an Events Assistant, you will support your manager and team in delivering memorable events. Guests and clients joining us for events typically enjoy occasions such as weddings, family celebrations, or business programmes.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all areas of the department are show-ready to create a 'wow' moment for first impressions.
  • Prepare all mise-en-place required for tables and stations before each service.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of tasks to provide guests with the best service in line with their function.
  • Be fully knowledgeable about food allergens and allergies.
  • Address guest comments and complaints initially and report them to the person in charge.
  • Support functions such as beverage service and the café where applicable.
  • Be familiar with current function sheets and departmental activities, including upcoming events.
  • Ensure the department is stocked and prepared.
