Role Objective

Champneys College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Beauty Therapy Tutor to join our team and deliver top-tier education. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing course materials, delivering professional lessons, and ensuring students receive a first-class education.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching:Uphold Champneys College\'s high standards and core values, adhering to the requirements of awarding organizations.

Course Preparation: Develop course materials within set timescales to meet syllabus requirements.

Scheme of Work: Ensure detailed schemes of work are prepared in advance, allowing ample time for comprehensive course delivery.

Lesson Planning: Create relevant lesson plans and deliver course content professionally and effectively.

Assessment: Prepare lessons and mark/assess students’ assignments and practical work, maintaining up-to-date group tracking.

Student Support: Identify individual learning needs, refer to learning support as necessary, and guide students through learning logs to highlight strengths and areas for improvement.

Tutorials and Materials: Conduct tutorials and produce flexible learning materials as needed.

Resource Management: Identify and manage materials and equipment required for effective teaching and learning.

Record Keeping: Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date class registers and course files.

Attendance Monitoring: Monitor student attendance and punctuality, taking appropriate action as needed.

Health & Safety: Comply with Health & Safety regulations, including fire procedures.

Security: Ensure the security of the classroom and any borrowed equipment.

Curriculum Development: Stay current with curriculum developments, undertaking short industrial placements as required.
