What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering a warm, professional welcome and efficient check‑in experience
- Managing guest check‑outs, payments, accounts and robe controls
- Handling guest enquiries, resolving concerns and escalating where appropriate
- Administering payments and end‑of‑day procedures in line with company guidelines
- Preparing arrivals for future dates to ensure a seamless guest journey
- Operating the switchboard and transferring calls professionally
- Liaising closely with Housekeeping and other departments to support guest satisfaction
- Supporting continuous improvement of reception performance and profitability
- Completing administrative duties and attending training as required
- Always working in line with Champneys' policies, procedures and health & safety standards
Qualifications
- A natural people person with a warm, confident and professional approach
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage payments accurately
- Calm and solutions‑focused when handling guest feedback or challenges
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment
