The predicted salary is between 22 - 25 £ per hour.
To be the first port of call for all questions and queries relating to a guest stay, spa day, club membership or any other general enquiry. Always demonstrating a can-do attitude, you will be a source of information for all guests and colleagues. Your knowledge of the day’s activities, guest numbers and availability will ensure that you support the wider teams with maximisation and utilisation. This role is far reaching and supports other functions such as the Spa, Wellbeing & Fitness, Main Reception, and all managers in terms of guest data and information that you possess. We only have one opportunity to create a first impression, make sure it counts.
Some Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests with a warm welcome and ensuring the courteous and efficient process of checking-in, completing the correct registration procedure including offering a tour where appropriate and explaining the welcome pack.
- Correctly and in line with the GDPR you will receive and administer financial payments, ensuring guests are provided with receipts, merchant copies are filed and stored in line with the governing regulations.
- When checking out guests you will ensure all client accounts are settled in full, robe controls maintained, and guest satisfaction is checked.
- Where comments are raised you will share these with your team and where appropriate make an action for correction should constructive feedback be provided.
- Monitor CCTV to ensure the safety of bathers in the pool and other areas.
- Monitor headcounts every hour to ensure the maximum bather load is not exceeded.
- Support with conducting pool tests should a member of the fitness team or maintenance team not be available (must be trained).
- Where guest walks are in place, support / lead these where required.
- Close any open folios and settle classes on the system.
- Upsell additional services and items, manage columns to ensure yield management.
- Assist in the scheduling of Spa colleagues and services.
- Take responsibility for pre bookings and bookings of all spa services offered and ensure that the billing of guest services is carried out correctly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure full knowledge of residential, day packages and services.
- Keep up to date on promotional offers and sell services to guests as per targets set, supporting the team in achieving sales targets.
