Our teams deliver knowledgeable, attentive service with a clear understanding of nutrition, ingredients and dietary requirements, ensuring every guest feels cared for, confident and relaxed.
As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be a visible leader within the department, supporting the day to day running of our restaurant, café and conference operations.
You will be passionate about service excellence, confident in leading teams, and proud to act as an ambassador for the Champneys brand.
This is a development focused role, offering the opportunity to build leadership capability, deepen your knowledge of wellness led food and service, and progress your career within a luxury hospitality environment.
Your role will include
- Supporting the smooth and efficient day to day running of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring teams are fully briefed on daily guests, bookings and menu offerings
- Working closely with the F&B Management team to maintain consistently high standards of professional service across all restaurant, café, bar and event spaces
- Supervising, guiding and developing F&B Assistants through on the job coaching, training and service leadership
- Leading pre service briefings, checking daily menus with senior chefs and ensuring teams are confident in food, nutrition and dietary knowledge
- Ensuring all guests’ dietary requirements are fully understood, accurately communicated and consistently adhered to by the team
- Maintaining exceptional presentation standards across service areas, equipment and team appearance
- Supporting sales performance and departmental profitability through effective service, organisation and attention to detail
- Accurately documenting sales, room charges and complimentary items, liaising closely with Front of House teams
- Acting as a point of contact for guests during service, resolving feedback professionally and escalating where appropriate
- Maintaining clear communication between Food & Beverage, Kitchen and wider resort departments
- Upholding excellent hygiene, health & safety and compliance standards, leading by example at all times
