As a Senior Spa Therapist you will provide first‑class service and deliver the highest standard of therapeutic, holistic and wellbeing treatments. You will be confident with facials, massages and nail treatments and driven by a desire to exceed guests’ expectations.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all spa treatments to the required standards and adhere to specific treatment times.
- Follow Champneys protocols and training programmes to offer the best service to guests.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the Club, Spa and Hotel facilities and advise customers accordingly.
- Maintain and report any defects of equipment to ensure a clean and fully operational working area.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations by using safe work practices.
- Attend the appropriate training courses required for your therapist grade.
- Communicate constructively with the manager and receptionists regarding scheduled treatments, changes and additions, and participate in shift changes when required.
- Stay up‑to‑date with product ranges and new treatments.
- Provide professional advice to guests via talks, demonstrations, spa tours and promotional events.
- Create an unforgettable and lasting treatment experience for all guests.
- Maximise revenue opportunities in line with targets and seek assistance if additional support or training is needed.
- Recommend suitable homecare for guests to continue results at home.
- Mentor junior therapists, sharing knowledge and experience.
- Offer skin‑consultation appointments with full home‑care prescriptions to premier guests.
Qualifications
- L3 qualification in Beauty Therapy.
- Preferably trained with Clarins or Elemis.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering unforgettable service.
- Previous 2+ years of experience working for a luxury brand.
- Friendly, approachable and professional demeanour.
Schedule
Monday to Sunday (weekends worked alternately). Pattern: 10:00 – 19:00, 11:00 – 20:00.
