Working within a focused Accounts team at Mottram Hall, this is an integral position supporting the Champneys Group’s operational and financial performance. The successful candidate will have responsibility for processing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash, and General Ledger transactions in accordance with relevant controls and procedures.

Main duties and responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant include:

• Accounts Payable
• Maintaining high attention to detail, matching purchase invoices to Purchase Orders, ensuring correct approval
• Coding and data entry of purchase invoices onto purchase ledger
• Maintaining supplier account information and reconciling supplier accounts, resolving queries and disputes
• Accounts Receivable
• Debt chasing
• Processing incoming payments
• Vouchers redemption
• Managing open folios and house accounts
• Daily Business Audit
• Preparing and reporting daily sales and business stats, with accurate explanations of variations
• Auditing transactions including revenue, payments, cash banking, and change orders
• Processing Petty cash declarations
• Assisting FC, GM, and finance team with other duties as required
