Overview

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to support the smooth, efficient running of our housekeeping department.

In this hands-on management role, you'll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest accommodation and public areas, while motivating and developing your team to deliver exceptional service every day.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department, ensuring standards are consistently exceeded.
  • Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, driving a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to maintain impeccable standards.
  • Ensure effective laundry operations and guest laundry services.
  • Actively support and coach team members, identifying training needs and delivering on-the-job training.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and team performance management.
  • Dutches for the Head of Housekeeping when required.
  • Ensure maintenance issues are identified and reported promptly.
  • Manage stock levels and support cost control within department budgets.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service at every touchpoint.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role (hospitality preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH procedures.
  • Experience of rota planning and/or workforce systems (desirable).
