Salary: up to £12.21 per hour plus service charge from 16 hours per week.

As a qualified lifeguard your primary role is to ensure the safety of those that are in or around our pools. You will use your training and knowledge to ensure an enjoyable experience is had by all guests that enjoy our outdoor pool or any other pool that you may be asked to cover.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Make sure swimmers follow safety rules.
  • Make sure people stay in safe areas.
  • Give first aid. If your certificate is soon to expire, we can support you with retraining.
  • Conduct regular pool water tests.
  • Support colleagues with the opening and closing of the department.
  • Clearing of all leftover towels to ensure guests have beds readily available.
  • Ensure poolside area is kept clear of excess water.
  • To keep all public and changing areas clean and tidy at all times.
  • Cover reception duties when required.
