As a Housekeeping Assistant, you play a vital role in delivering that experience. Responsibilities

  • Servicing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to exceptional Champneys standards, ensuring cleanliness, presentation and comfort.
  • Preparing rooms so they feel calm, inviting and ready for guests to relax from the moment they arrive.
  • Maintaining tidy corridors and working areas, ensuring guest privacy and discretion at all times.
  • Keeping housekeeping trolleys and stock rooms well organised and fully stocked.
  • Reporting maintenance issues, damage or stock shortages promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Working respectfully and quietly within guest accommodation, recognising that guests are here to rest and unwind.
  • Responding politely and professionally to guest requests in line with company procedures.
  • Supporting wider housekeeping and laundry duties when required.
  • Attending team meetings and training, with a willingness to continually improve standards and skills.

Health, Safety and Professionalism

  • Following all health, safety and fire procedures at all times.
  • Using cleaning products and equipment responsibly and in line with COSHH guidance.
  • Maintaining high standards of personal presentation, punctuality and conduct.
  • Working with discretion and confidentiality in all guest areas.
