The All About Kids Monitor is responsible for the overall quality and safety of services for Voices Against Violence/CVOEO’s Supervised Visitation Program, All About Kids. This position works directly with families impacted by domestic and sexual violence by providing safe spaces to re-build the relationship, providing healing workshops and resources and working with the family to build resilience and end the cycle of violence. They will maintain appropriate confidentiality in all client matters, direct interaction, written information, case discussion, etc.
The Monitor will provide supervised visitation or monitored exchange services to families impacted by domestic and sexual violence. They will coordinate, conduct and document intakes with both the custodial and visiting parent and assist in collecting data and narratives for grant reporting. This position is 32 hours per week.
RequirementsA Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field, (Social Work, Counseling…) or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired. Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. A highly motivated and responsible individual with the ability to relate to a wide variety of people in a non-judgmental, positive and competent manner. Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus. Must demonstrate good organizational and crisis intervention skills.
