We are looking for a Forklift Operator located in Aberdeen, Scotland. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.

What You Will Do:

  • Counterbalance forklift duties; move & store chemicals onsite.
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles; controlling vehicle movements onsite ensuring that site rules are adhered to at all times.
  • Check correct labelling and packaging of chemical containers.
  • Inspect chemical containers to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Be responsible for own safety and the safety of others by complying with all company regulations.
  • Adhere to and follow quality procedures for activities within the Plant.
  • Maintain accurate record and document keeping.
  • Ensure all plant equipment is fit for purpose and available for use at all times.
  • Assist with provision of information to ensure material requirement planning is accurate, and to assist administration staff in upkeep of SAP master and info records.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing plant experience.
  • Experience with handling products in various types of packages including bulk, offshore tanks, drums and pallets.
  • Experience in customer relations.
  • Experience performing warehouse duties, which include preventative maintenance, inventory of chemicals, receiving incoming shipments, organizing warehouse for safe and efficient chemical storage, operation of customized chemical manufacturing equipment and the upkeep of warehouse grounds.
  • Awareness of chemical safety and the measures to take in the event of skin contact or spill.

Physical Demands: This role requires working in a chemical manufacturing plant.

Certifications: Category B3 Counterbalance Forklift Certification.
