Champions Oncology is seeking a highly organized, highly productive Marketing Associate or Junior Marketer to support the execution of core marketing, communications, and event activities across our pre-clinical oncology services portfolio. This role is a key part of the marketing operations function and is designed to ensure programs, campaigns, and events are executed efficiently, accurately, and on time. This is a remote, execution-focused role ideal for someone early in their marketing career who wants broad exposure to B2B marketing within a scientific organization. The position supports communications, digital marketing, reporting, event logistics, and marketing operations, while working closely with inside sales, product management, and scientific stakeholders. The Marketing Associate will play a critical role in keeping marketing initiatives moving forward, managing details, coordinating across teams, and using modern tools, including AI, to maximize efficiency and output. While this role does not own strategy, it provides meaningful exposure to how marketing, sales, product, and science come together in a complex, fast-moving environment. A scientific background or prior experience working within scientific or life sciences organizations is a strong plus, as the role supports oncology-focused services and events.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Marketing Operations & Communications
- Support day-to-day marketing execution across campaigns, communications, and deliverables
- Assist with social media management, including scheduling, posting, and basic performance tracking
- Support email marketing activities, including list coordination, campaign setup, QA, and reporting
- Help manage marketing calendars, deadlines, and asset coordination to ensure timely execution
- Reporting, Systems, and Asset Management
- Support marketing reporting and basic performance analysis across campaigns and channels
- Assist with maintaining, organizing, and updating marketing assets, templates, and content libraries
- Work within CRM and marketing platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce to support campaigns, reporting, and lead coordination
- Help ensure data accuracy and consistency across marketing and sales systems
- Familiarity with asset management or workflow systems such as Chopard, or similar platforms, is advantageous
- Task and Project Management
- Use task and project management systems to track work, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
- Maintain task status, timelines, and documentation within tools such as Monday.com, ClickUp, Basecamp, or similar platforms
- Coordinate tasks across marketing, sales, product, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, or delays and elevate as needed
- Event & Symposium Support
- Support the planning and execution of conferences, symposia, webinars, and hosted events
- Assist with speaker coordination and liaison, including scheduling, reminders, and materials collection
- Support venue coordination, supply ordering, and communication with vendors and event partners
- Handle logistics such as hotel bookings, travel coordination, and general event administration
- Provide on-site or virtual event support when required and assist with post-event follow-up
- Website & Digital Support
- Assist with basic website updates, content uploads, and coordination with internal or external web teams
- Support landing page setup, form testing, and content QA for campaigns and events
- Help ensure accuracy and consistency across digital content and assets
- Sales & Product Collaboration
- Work with inside sales to support campaign execution, lead follow-up coordination, and reporting
- Assist product management with marketing support such as content updates, internal materials, and launch activities
- Help organize, distribute, and maintain sales enablement materials
- Productivity & AI Enablement
- Use AI tools effectively and responsibly to improve speed, quality, and efficiency of marketing work
- Apply AI for tasks such as content drafting, summarization, research, reporting support, and workflow optimization
- Continuously look for opportunities to streamline processes and improve how marketing work is executed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working across multiple tools, systems, and workflows
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and scientific teams
- Demonstrated productivity and follow-through in a remote work environment
- Competence using AI tools to support day-to-day efficiency and output
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and common marketing applications
- Proficiency using HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms is preferred
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, events, or a related role
- Experience working within a scientific, technical, or life sciences organization is a strong plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce is preferred
- Experience supporting events, conferences, or webinars is advantageous
- Exposure to B2B marketing environments is preferred
