As the sole agent for SINSIM, we specialize in the import and distribution of high-quality machinery and accessories sourced directly from China & international market. Probation Period: 3 to 6 months (subject to performance review)
Office Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Saturday to Thursday)
Day Off: Friday (weekly off)
Public Holidays: As per government holidays
Position Overview: Champion Family is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive for its Commercial & Foreign Trade division. The role will involve overseeing all aspects of international trade operations, particularly the import of machinery and accessories from China.
Responsibilities:
- Fluent Communication: Possess exceptional proficiency in English (both written and spoken) to effectively liaise with overseas suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Trade Compliance & Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to local and international trade regulations, overseeing the accuracy and timeliness of import/export documentation.
- Letter of Credit (LC) Management: Oversee and manage the LC processes for smooth international transactions, coordinating with clearing and forwarding (C&F) agents as required.
- Sourcing & Supplier Management: Manage and track the importation of machinery and accessories from China, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries while maintaining excellent relationships with Chinese suppliers.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments (finance, logistics, and production) to ensure seamless operations and timely processing of orders.
- ERP & System Management: Leverage ERP systems for managing, reporting, and analyzing trade operations, ensuring accurate records and performance tracking.
- Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market analysis to assess global trade trends, identify new opportunities, and devise strategies for market expansion and improved performance.
- Negotiation & Relationship Management: Negotiate favorable terms with overseas suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and quality products, while managing long‑term relationships to support business growth.
