We are seeking an experienced VP Neo Program Engagement to lead our customer engagement strategy, ensuring our clients maximize the value of our solutions across both core systems and e-cargo products. This role will be instrumental in guiding customers through their digital transformation journey , fostering long-term relationships, and expanding CHAMP’s market reach.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the VP Customer Engagement will play a vital role in both customer retention and acquisition, building stronger relationships with existing clients and identifying promising new customers. Over the next five years, a key focus will be supporting our customers' transition to modern solutions, expertly managing the migration from Cargospot Classic to Cargospotneo. This crucial responsibility will be integrated into a broader customer-centric strategy to maximize the value businesses derive from CHAMP’s technology, including our core system offerings and e-cargo solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish and develop direct contacts with the relevant senior decision-making executives of our existing Cargospot accounts to promote CHAMP’s products and services.
- Develop customer engagement strategies to showcase the value of CHAMP’s Cargospotneo technology and establish a Cargospotneo migration program/approach:
-Based on a set of established criteria, identify the key accounts that should be targeted for
a Cargospotneo migration
-In conjunction with Product Management, engage with targeted Customers to establish
the value that Cargospotneo would deliver to their business & operations
-In conjunction with Product Management & Global Project Delivery, establish migration
timelines with the targeted customers whilst ensuring that the targeted customers have the
necessary resources to undertake the migration to Cargospotneo
-Take the lead in all Cargospotneo contract renewal negotiations
-Should the existing customers issue an RFP/RFI, lead the response whilst working with the
various CHAMP teams in developing the key winning messages/themes, solutions and
overall positioning of the CHAMP offer.
-Manage as a program the Customer neo Migrations for all CHAMP existing customers.
- Coach Customer Success Managers (CSMs) on renewals and the different elements of securing customers.
- Identify prospective customers within the air cargo community that can generate substantial growth to the company.
- In conjunction with Product Management and Legal, identify potential partnerships that compliment CHAMP’s capabilities and manage the partnership engagement/contracting.
- Collect and leverage market intelligence to achieve established sales objectives and ensure CHAMP’s continued product competitiveness within the market.
- Manage multiple internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Product Management, Project Management, Service Delivery, Development and Service Desk to ensure that suitably qualified resources are available to support customers’ daily needs, sales opportunities and delivery.
- Participate in events and forums to showcase the CHAMP products and services, prospecting for new leads and keeping up to date with industry trends and issues
- Other duties as assigned by CHAMP’s executive management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven leadership in customer success, account management, or related roles within IT, logistics, or airfreight industries.
- Strong track record in building & maintaining strategic customer relationships, including C-level engagement.
- Deep understanding of digital transformation trends in logistics & supply chain management.
- Experience in driving customer acquisition and retention strategies including commercial and contract negotiations.
- Proven ability to deliver sales targets and excellence in customer relationship management at senior level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
- Proven ability to effectively liaise across all customers organizational levels
- Well-developed organizing, multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Strong budgeting and financial planning skills and knowledge.
- Languages: English (fluent verbal and written); additional language considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel frequently for customer and industry engagement.
