Join our creative digital marketing team as a Social Media Executive. We’re looking for a talented, creative, and social-savvy individual to join our award-winning team at Chameleon Web Services. If you have a passion for storytelling, content creation, and building online communities, this is your chance to be part of one of the UK’s most established digital marketing agencies.

As a Social Media Executive, you will play a key role in planning, creating, and managing social media content for a variety of clients across different industries. You’ll be responsible for shaping online identities, increasing engagement, and helping brands grow through strategic and creative social media activity.

You will work closely with our PPC, SEO, content, and design teams—collaborating daily to deliver high-impact digital campaigns. Please note this job is office based and not a hybrid role. Our team made a collective decision after COVID to return to working together in the office full-time. Since then, we’ve seen stronger collaboration, closer working relationships, and faster individual learning and development than ever before. The Head Office is based at 202 Dudley Road, Halesowen, Birmingham, B63 3NR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
  • Create engaging posts, stories, reels, and short-form videos tailored to each platform.
  • Manage content calendars and schedule posts.
  • Monitor performance and use insights to improve engagement and reach.
  • Work with designers and videographers to produce visually compelling assets.
  • Engage directly with online communities and respond to comments/messages.
  • Analyse performance metrics and produce monthly client reports.
  • Research trends, hashtags, influences, and competitor activity.
  • Support wider digital campaigns with social-first ideas.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts (agency or in-house).
  • Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Confident using scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Ability to create and edit content—images, reels, and short-form videos.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to craft engaging captions.
  • Understanding of analytics and how to use data to guide decisions.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visuals, storytelling, and brand tone.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
