Is your current HRBP role feeling a little too...samey? Do you find yourself managing the status quo rather than moving things forward? If you get a buzz from bringing order to a bit of chaos and thrive in sometimes ambiguous, high-growth environments, then this might be the challenge you've been waiting for. We are working with a professional services firm that is on an ambitious growth journey. Having spent the last 18 months building a People function from scratch, they are now looking for a Regional People Business Partner to help align and professionalise across a rapidly expanding portfolio.
This isn't a role for the faint-hearted. The business is growing quickly through acquisitions, meaning you'll be working with stakeholders across multiple offices, at varying levels of integration into the business, many of which still operate on their legacy T&Cs and have little prior experience of working with an HR function. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will be the "boots on the ground" trusted advisor for regional leadership.
Your mission is to take a sometimes frantic, fast-paced environment and implement a consistent, high-performance people strategy. You will be tasked with reworking ER processes, embedding new career frameworks, and managing the people-side of new mergers as they land. Essentially, you are here to define what "good" looks like for a function that didn't exist two years ago.
You will act as a consultant to Partners and Directors on workforce planning and organisational design, leading the charge on harmonising processes and driving the adoption of new HR ways of working across the region, including utilisation of a new HRIS. This role provides the opportunity to lead the performance review process, drive management capability and ensure that HR solutions directly support the overarching business objectives.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a credible HR Business Partner who excels in a role with autonomy and ownership but always asks is this the best way before embarking on new initiatives. You should be a decisive individual and have a solid track record in a Business Partnering role and ideally have had exposure to M&A or TUPE. Experience within similar growth environments and/or regional roles with similar HR maturity challenges will stand you in good stead, as will a commercial mindset and the resilience to navigate a complex business structure.
