12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Reporting to the HR Director, you will step in as the "boots on the ground" trusted advisor for a complex but established leadership team. While the business has been growing, this particular area of the business is where it all began. The business is profitable and established but you'll be joining at a time when HR is still a relatively new function. With that in mind, you'll be focused on embedding HR practices and showcasing the benefits of a business partnering function, while keeping abreast of people risks.
This 12-month role balances the need for foundational delivery and proactive, tactical intervention. You will act as a consultant to Partners and Directors on career development and talent planning, leading the charge on harmonising processes and driving the adoption of new HR ways of working, including a new HRIS. The role will see you take ownership of the localised HR agenda, leading on the annual performance and pay review process, overseeing ER casework, and facilitating HR learning and development interventions as needed to drive performance. As the business grows, you may also be required to support on TUPE transfers and associated change management.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a credible HR Business Partner who excels in a role with autonomy and ownership, but who always looks at the bigger picture to ensure HR initiatives deliver real value. You should be a decisive individual with a solid track record in a Business Partnering role, ideally gained within professional services or have experience partnering with corporate functions in a complex business environment. If you have a calm professional manner, the capability to build stakeholder trust quickly, and are ready to make a tangible impact during a 12-month contract, we need to hear from you.
