Overview

Extension of Adam Spokes' existing role until Dec 24

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Amplify area that includes My Account and Ranking Data Hub products, discover and understand user needs, highlight improvement opportunities and communicate it internally and externally.
  • Own and manage product design activities in your product team.
  • Support the Amplify product team to prepare and deliver sprints, by creating and refining designs and other required deliverables.
  • Design and conduct user research to uncover pain points and user needs, test your hypotheses and design solutions, carry competitive analysis when needed, analyse and synthesise data and feedback (qual/quant) to inform the further developments and design of Amplify products.
  • Ideate, design and deliver fully fleshed out user experience along with relevant assets for My Account and Ranking Data Hub, enabling Chambers to hit their goals.
  • Get familiar with the other Rank, Showcase and Amplify products in order to pick up any design work if needed.
  • Collaborate with the design team and various stakeholders, facilitate ideation or alignment workshops when necessary.
  • Keep documentation of your design and user research work to help generate cohesive knowledge across the business.
  • Articulate your design decisions to key stakeholders when needed.
  • Lead, guide, support the other Amplify designer through their work on other Amplify products.
  • Ensure your designs are considered within the wider product ecosystem, that they fit and complement other work streams in other product areas, influence others designers' work in order to achieve overall UX cohesion.
  • Work closely with other members of the design team, advise, guide, share your thoughts, knowledge, work in progress, feedback on their work, be a driving force on our journey to improve cohesion over the overall Chambers product suite.

Key Initiatives

  • Full product redesign of My Account application - using the latest techniques, IT and digital strategies, including UX and UI, looking at multi-users permissions and functionality in-line with the yearly, cyclic use of Chambers Applications through My Account.
  • Lead and contribute towards the evolution and maintenance of Chambers Design System, continue to improve how the design team creates and uses it, how we can work better with the UI development team and how it applies to Chambers products suite.
  • Design team cohesion, ways of working and practice improvements.
