A core role within the Strategy & Transformation team, providing expert analytical skills across key strategic initiatives to drive effective decision making and delivery to enable the achievement of the strategic growth plan.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Analysis: Own strategic models and undertake scenario analyses to understand the potential impacts of strategic decisions. Work with finance to define and measure strategic KPIs to assess the achievement of the company strategy. Analyze and report on the performance of strategic initiatives, making recommendations for adjustments as needed. Undertake industry and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and threats.
- Strategic Solutioning & Planning: Work with business stakeholders to shape strategic options and recommendations for key strategic initiatives. Lead the development of strategic plans for specific initiatives that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Project Management: Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business goals. Manage cross-functional teams to implement strategic projects successfully.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present strategic plans and reports to senior management and key stakeholders. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure strategic alignment.
- Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation by identifying new business opportunities and growth areas, aligned to the strategic priorities. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to drive achievement of the strategic plan.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting. Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including problem/opportunity framing & solution shaping. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
Person Specification: Strategic thinker with a proactive approach. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment & balance multiple priorities. Collaborator who engages well with different stakeholder groups & can utilize facilitation skills to drive alignment/consensus.
