This role is a great opportunity for progression and development and offers the chance to take responsibility for scrutiny over all rankings and editorial for designated jurisdictions. This role will entail management of a team of EMEA-focused researchers working across the Chambers Europe, Chambers Global (AMECO), Chambers France and Chambers Germany research, requiring the successful candidate to support the EMEA Research Director and the Heads of AMECO, Europe, France and Germany with employee engagement, performance management and learning and development support.

As key point of contact for firms, you will be required to keep up to date with developments in the legal market, represent the company and have excellent analytical and editing skills. As you will be leading a team of researchers, you will have leadership qualities, first-class communication skills and the enthusiasm to manage the team to achieve tight deadlines.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The Research Manager will also represent the team in internal and external meetings, and take a role in the development and testing of new platforms.
  • They will be key to the provision of feedback and support to other teams across the business.
  • Participate in seminars, workshops and other programmes to improve our research processes.
  • The Research Manager’s ultimate responsibility is to work as a member of the senior research team and other collaborators to ensure the timely and accurate production of the four EMEA Guides, and related projects, in line with our team, department and company goals.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience of conducting in-depth interviews and utilising the information to inform rankings and editorial.
  • Thorough understanding of common legal practice areas.
Person Specification:
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines.
