We are looking to have a broader role to meet new system efficiency and utilise time elsewhere in the management accounts function.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties.
- Ownership of bank accounts including posting and regular bank reconciliations.
- Ensure all purchase ledger accounts are accurate and updated on system.
- Accurate and timely recording of all supplier invoices, expenses and credit card costs.
- Responsibility that all costs are properly authorised by the relevant party prior to payment.
- Posting and reconciling credit card expenses and statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of all suppliers and expenses.
- Ad-hoc tasks within the finance team.
- Liaising and dealing with credit control team on daily basis.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a finance department (Preferable but not essential).
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage 200 or Sage Intacct.
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with financial services processes and procedures.
