Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Recruitment Advisor to join our team for a Fixed Term, maternity contract.
The Recruitment Advisor plays a pivotal role within our esteemed People Team, working closely with the Recruitment Manager and another Recruitment Advisor to strategically acquire top-tier talent from both internal talent pools and the broader market.
This multifaceted position involves collaborating with key stakeholders to meticulously define roles and ascertain the most effective avenues for talent acquisition. Moreover, the incumbent will be instrumental in internally promoting vacancies to foster a culture of retention and continual professional growth among our workforce.
A primary focus of this role will be leading our efforts in recruiting for our Commercial Sales teams, an essential component of our organisation. You will be recruiting at all levels into our New Business, Core, and Key Account teams, with roles based in our London and New York offices. A focus for this role is direct hiring, which has been successful over recent years, and something we are keen to continue.
This role presents an ideal opportunity for individuals with experience in Sales recruitment or a background in managing recruitment across different experience levels. Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting in the running of the recruitment process for the company (with a focus on sales), looking to develop diverse and inclusive teams
- Managing the internal recruitment authorisation process
- Delivering suitable candidates via internal sources, LinkedIn, job boards, social media and other creative search strategies where required
- Increasing hiring managers’ knowledge of recruitment policies, procedures and activities
- Promoting job opportunities internally and encouraging internal applications
- Partnering with the recruiting managers with their recruitment choices
- Being aware of resourcing and recruiting emerging trends, issues and best practices
- Articulating internal career paths to all employees
- Develop the functionality of the recruitment of the ATS using Chambers People (Sage People)
- Working with the People Team on employer branding to attract top talent
- Promotion of the understanding of company benefits
- Continuously improve the candidate experience
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable relevant experience within a similar role
- Understanding of UK employment legislation, and particularly regarding inclusive hiring
- Interviewing skills and understanding of psychometric testing
- Experience of resourcing via social media and job boards
- Experience of working with key stakeholders and adding value
- Experience working with ATS and HRIS systems
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work to set deadlines
- MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
