Overview: We are looking to appoint an Events Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of our high-profile physical and virtual events around the world. The role of the Events Coordinator is an important role looking after a portfolio of events and providing support to the wider Events team. This is a role which requires good attention to detail, proactive approach and communication skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and host global events, including forums and awards ceremonies both physically and virtually.
  • Strong experience of virtual events.
  • Liaising with sponsors to ensure they receive their package with a high level of customer service.
  • Confident with venue sourcing and booking, AV management, logistics planning.
  • Putting together venue research and supplier research when required.
  • Coordinate on-site activity, liaising with the venue, A/V supplier, photographer, in-house team as well as running registration desks.
  • Maintain accurate databases for event attendees.
  • Coordinate the requirements of the in-house team, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of all events to agreed budget and timeframe.
  • Support on Mandarin translations on printed assets, scripts and PowerPoint presentations.

  • Experience using virtual event platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple events at once.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Candidates must be entitled to live and work in the UK and should have no travel restrictions.
  • Fluent spoken and written communication in Mandarin is a must.
