About the Role

Reporting into the Financial Controller, our client is looking for an ambitious self-starter, working independently and as part of a team. The Finance Assistant will support the finance function in managing day-to-day financial operations and administration across multiple events. This role is ideal for a finance graduate looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. The role involves processing financial transactions, liaising with customers, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager and involves business partnering.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing customer and supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding against the budget and department.
  • Responsible for keeping accurate records of paid registration.
  • Assist with reviewing staff and event-related expense claims.
