Job Purpose
Accountable for the end-to-end accounting and controls for market legal and management entities. You will act as a key partner to the FDs and senior stakeholders, providing technical insight, robust controls, and accounting leadership to ensure critical reporting deadlines are met with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Control: Primary lead for a £1Bn area, providing full oversight of Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow statements.
- Reporting & Compliance: Lead Statutory and Management reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS, SOX controls, and internal governance.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with FDs, Business Partners, and Group Finance to provide technical accounting support.
- Process & Audit: Own the R2R cycle, manage the relationship with external auditors, and oversee Outsource Service Providers for tax and VAT compliance.
- Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of Financial Controllers and Assistant Controllers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Qualified ACA, ACCA with at least 5 years pqe, large teams background, driving process improvements/change, Financial and Tax reporting, Audit, statutory reporting and controls.
