As they enter a significant phase of transformation and expansion, they are seeking a hands-on, commercially driven Finance Director on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
This is an ideal opportunity for an entrepreneurial finance leader who thrives in high-growth environments. While the role is initially structured as a 12-month contract, the scale of the wider group offers potential for long-term impact and visibility, should the incumbent wish to pursue permanent opportunities within the organization.
You will be the architect of financial strategy, empowering a high-performing team to deliver accurate, timely insights that drive confident decision-making. Operating in a complex, service-led environment, you will combine rigorous financial control with commercial acumen to support sustainable growth and outstanding client service.
Partnering closely with the executive team and group stakeholders, you will be responsible for shaping plans, strengthening processes, and ensuring the financial platform scales seamlessly with the business.
- Commercial Leadership: Own budgeting, reforecasting, and long-range planning, ensuring finance is closely aligned with operational drivers.
- Oversee cashflow, treasury routines, and balance sheet integrity, ensuring a robust control environment.
- Coordinate external audits, tax compliance, and statutory filings in partnership with advisors.
Transformation: Lead the optimization of systems and processes, including ERP/BI implementations, to drive meaningful automation and data quality.
- Coach, mentor, and structure the finance team to raise performance standards and drive continuous improvement.
- Delivery of clear, timely, and trusted financial reporting that enables confident decision-making at the board level.
- A robust control environment characterized by clean audits, reliable cashflow, and zero surprises.
- A motivated, high-performing finance function with clear succession planning.
Influential Communicator: You build strong relationships, influence key stakeholders with evidence-based insights, and communicate complex data with clarity.

Proven track record leading a finance function within a service-led, multi-entity, or contract-based business. Demonstrable success in driving transformation across reporting, controls, ERP implementation, or Business Intelligence tools. Experience partnering with operations to improve unit economics, pricing, or cost-to-serve. Solid experience in managing external audits, tax, and statutory processes with clean outcomes. Exposure to integration, change, or growth within a private or PE-backed group.
