We are seeking an accomplished Business Analyst or Product Owner to join Chambers as a Platform Product Owner. This role entails full-cycle delivery, demanding adept stakeholder management skills and the capacity to handle various workstreams efficiently and swiftly.
You will be responsible for shaping and implementing the strategy, roadmap, and backlog for Chambers platforms and services within your Research domain. This involves capturing and scrutinising requirements, pinpointing efficiency opportunities, offering thought leadership, fostering challenges, and ensuring that business processes yield the desired outcomes for both our end-user products and corporate goals. As the owner, you will be entrusted with the holistic strategy and execution of a platform, application, or project.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Define, own and execute the strategy and roadmap for Chambers business applications in your domain/remit to support the business vision.
- Ensure benefits are clearly understood and specific KPIs and outputs defined and delivered.
- Foster and maintain exceptional stakeholder relationships, both with the business and technology, supported by exceptional communication.
- Act as single point of ownership for platform prioritisation and analysis in your domain/remit.
- Prioritise balancing business need and complexity to achieve risk.
- Accountable for the quality of applications/platforms and releases, balancing quality, speed and simplicity.
- Have accountability for the end-to-end delivery of platform enhancements and transformations. Plan and execute to time. Effectively manage dependencies, risks, issues and resources (internal or external). Find solutions to problems.
- Conduct extensive customer research to inform the platform roadmaps and assist in the usability of these platforms.
- Provide product consultancy for Business Change initiatives.
- Elicit business requirements and objectives using a variety of methods, including interviews, workshops and surveys.
- Produce requirements specifications, functional specifications, process models, business rules and use cases as applicable.
- Determine true needs and perform gap analysis against current capability.
- Provide a constant stream of high-quality engineering requirements (epics, stories) with clear acceptance criteria in a timely fashion.
- Champion 'one team' agile working practices, supporting rapid benefit delivery and autonomous working.
- Manage and work with 3rd party products and services that integrate in the Platforms.
- Demonstrable experience working in a research domain, as a product/platform owner, business analyst or research analyst.
- Be a subject matter expert within research, with deep knowledge of processes and tools.
- Experience in usage and rolling out AI into Business Platforms.
- Demonstrable experience creating and managing backlogs to meet strategic objectives.
- Articulate, able to create concise requirements, epics, stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Ensure an effective understanding of business and product priorities, adapting recommendations/opportunities to meet that strategy.
- Understand and champion agile ways of working.
- Prioritisation skills to handle fast paced dynamic environment.
- Data literate, understanding how data can be structured and manipulated to enhance the customer proposition.
- Technically astute, with a good knowledge of engineering processes and frameworks. Able to constructively challenge at a technical design level.
- Experience working on Business platforms for Marketing, HR and Sales Teams.
- Experience in a number of the following research areas: Content management systems or publishing workflows, Search & matching platforms, Research processes and interview preparation, Research strategy.
