We are looking for a results-driven, methodical individual with a passion for B2B sales to lead the commercial and operational function of our Plaques business. Chambers is the global leader in legal rankings, and our Plaques celebrate the excellence of top-ranked law firms and lawyers. These elegant plaques are a mark of prestige, proudly displayed in offices around the world.
As the Commercial Lead, you will take full ownership of our Plaques and Individual Profiles products, reporting directly into our UK Commercial Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening commercial relationships across an existing account base, driving operational excellence, and ensuring seamless delivery of plaques to our customers.
You will work flexibly in our Fleet Street office twice per week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, together with the rest of the Sales team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales Ownership: Lead all sales activities for the Plaques product - from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and upselling to existing Chambers customers.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with the world’s leading law firms and individual lawyers, helping them celebrate their Chambers rankings with pride.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the end-to-end process—from order intake to production and delivery—ensuring every plaque arrives on time and in perfect condition. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve customer queries.
- Enhanced Customer Journey: Oversee and improve the ecommerce platform to reduce friction in the buying journey, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly customer experience.
- Product Strategy: Collaborate with internal Chambers teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product and Finance, to refine messaging, explore new formats, and drive demand for plaques across the Chambers’ global client base.
- Reporting & Insights: Track performance, map existing accounts, identify growth opportunities, and report regularly to senior leadership.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally selling into legal or professional services firms.
- Innovative and creative approach to driving new business and upsell opportunities.
- Self-starter mindset with a passion for owning and growing a product.
- Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, sales environment.
